A single performer plays clarinet with the left hand, and piano with the right. At times both hands play each instrument separately. A very difficult piece which is meant, in a very literal way, to represent the myriad contretemps, tussles, scrimmages, skirmishes, and fracases that occur when we find ourselves at loggerheads with ourselves.
