Unine Emamesilane (The Sleepy Queen Bee)

The moon digs out a white abyss of quietude.

There is only the moon alone in the night. Lovely.

Lovelier than a current of air between two stars.

It seems to sail through the clouds,

the sleepy queen bee of a honeycomb universe.

Mukaâbat Al Nūr (Prisms of Light)

When a door opens on the starry deep,

the structure of the air suggests a diamond.

From the depths. From Time’s deep source.

Prisms of light throw silver in a crackling blaze,

till the sky closes its door in a dark tremor.

Едно присъствие смълчано (A Silent Presence)

Remote, the moon is growing whiter in its vault.

    The sky’s black vault.

Busy with the pathways of the sky,

it traces the golden orbits in ethereal desolation.

A silent presence. A brooding intellect alone.

En Underlig Gåta (A Curious Riddle)

The mirror at the zenith. Revolving lantern.

Silver evasion in a silver-black nowhere:

the sole enigma between sky and darkness.

Glacial darkness. A curious riddle pervades the

    motionless night spaces.

The Moon Chalks Out Her Message in Letters of Light

Den Frosne Elven Av Stjernelys

        (The Frozen River of Starlight)

    The sky is a shell of ice, a thin curtain;

the frozen river of starlight. From the

cracks light pours billowing down: a

shower of stars. They crumble in the air,

a crystal flow shattered by moonlight.

Fervida Cura (Burning Obsession)

The white moon floats toward the sea it

craves, scorching rays flying across the

sky. Burning obsession. In the crucible,

melted moonlight is dripping. A stream which

    pours in the eternal silence.

Soillse Crúinne An Lasadh T’aodainn

        (A Naked Universe of Love)

The full moon fills our beds.

That is the beginning of unity.

    Unbuttoned by night’s dreaming hands,

    feathering the moonlight, our bodies

crave for union: a naked universe of love.
